Obituary

Linda Kaye Henry was born on December 11, 1954 to the union of the late John Mickens & Tennie Mae Johnson. She was the 4th out of 5 children. She attended Cheatham Elementary and Middle school in Clarksville, Texas and later moved to Dallas, Texas. Linda Kaye graduated from Lincoln High School in South Dallas.

She worked as a solderer at Texas Instrument and a supervisor at DART, and volunteered for Meals on Wheels.

On April 27, 2023, Linda Henry went Home to be with the Lord. She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Tina Mae Johnson, sisters,  Alvia 'Joyce' Glover and Bettye Johnson, and brother, Billy Johnson;

 


She leaves to cherish her memories: two sons, Damon Childs and Paul Collins; five granddaughters, Chasity Childs, Jayla Key, Taylor Collins, Ariel Collins, and Keira Collins; two grandsons, Karson Childs and Jatavian Collins; one sister, Gloria Woods; one brother, Ronnie Johnson; personal best friend of 29 years, Sharon Jones: and a host of family and friends.
