Obituary

Minister Jimmie Ellis was born in Kennard, Texas to the parentage of the late Sherwood and Rose B. (Hearn) Ellis.

Jimmie and his siblings grew up and attended schools in Shallowater, Tx. Jimmie retired from Southwest Airlines after 25 years of working in the airline industry. He was also a licensed Pentecostal minister and an anointed guitarist, supporting churches across Texas and Louisiana.

He is survived by his children, Jimmie M Ellis and Angela Coston. Six grandchildren, Jonathan Battles, DeLawrence Ellis, Henry Ellis, Quienittia Giddens (Jamion), Bianca Ellis and Jimmie M Ellis III. Siblings, Rose Ford, Terry Ellis and Jerry Ellis (Linda), a brother-in-law Holbert Coston and a large host of nieces, nephews, great grandchildren and cousins.

Our family would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the Brentwood Terrace Healthcare Center, Heart to Heart Hospice and Brownrigg's staff members for the compassionate and special care given to dad.
