Nellie Louise (English) Coulter

Nellie Louise English Coulter (82) passed away March 14, 2022. She was born on March 7, 1940 in Annona, TX to the parentage of Henry English, and Pearl English Mitchell, who has preceded her in death. She came to Red River County as a young girl, where she united in Holy Matrimony with Willie Coulter, and to this union nine children were born. Nellie joined St. James Baptist Church at an early age. She worked many years as a healthcare worker. Nellie was a mother, aunt, and granny to many who knew her, and she was well respected and loved amongst many.

Nellie was preceded in death by her mother, father, and her son Reginald Coulter, as well as all of her sibling, 6 brothers and 6 sisters.  

She leaves to cherish her memories, her sons, Robert Coulter, Longview, TX and Jeffery Coulter (Charlene), Paris, TX , Daughters, Cheryl Porter, Clarksville, TX, Vanessia, Paris, TX, Rhonda Johnson (Late Kevin) Clarksville, TX, Phyllis Owens (Wilbert) Clarksville, TX, Cassandra Coulter, Clarksville, TX, Chassity Coulter, Clarksville, TX, & Kim Butler, Idabel OK.

28 Grandchildren, 26 Great-grandchildren, 1 Great-great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Nellie's services will be Saturday, March 19, 2022 at St. James Baptist Church @ 2:00 p.m. Under the direction of Brownrigg Funeral Home. Interment will be at Fairground Cemetery, Clarksville, TX.
